A catalog that spells out every eligibility rule
Most chiropractic schools leave NBCE eligibility timing to internal advising. TCC's 2024-25 Catalog and Student Handbook lays it out directly:
- Part I: available after completing Trimesters 1-4 coursework; every student must sit all six sections before entering Clinic I
- Part II: available after completing Trimesters 1-7 coursework; all six sections must be completed before graduation
- Physiotherapy: available after 120 hours of physiotherapy coursework, passed with a C or higher
- Part III: due within 9 months of graduation, after passing Part I
- Part IV: due within 6 months of graduation, after passing Part I, for students in Trimester 9 or 10
That level of detail means you can map your own trimester progress directly against NBCE requirements without guessing.
NBCE dates built into the school calendar
TCC's academic calendar lists specific "NBCE Part I/II/III & PT/IV" dates every trimester right alongside orientation, finals, and commencement. For example, the Fall 2025 calendar names NBCE Part II dates in late September and Part III/PT dates in mid-October. The catalog doesn't use the phrase "on campus" for these windows, but scheduling them into the school's own term calendar, term after term, is a strong sign that TCC coordinates testing sessions closely with the NBCE's calendar rather than leaving students to arrange it entirely on their own.

TCC directs students toward their individual state Board of Chiropractic Examiners, the Federation of Chiropractic Licensing Boards (FCLB.org), and college library resources for exam preparation, with the Registrar's Office handling eligibility certification for each Part. There's no in-house board-review course named in TCC's published materials, so most students supplement with outside review resources on their own timeline.
